Obesity and its increasing prevalence have implications for the risk of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and also for chronic kidney disease (CKD). It is only through bringing people together and empowering educators that we can raise awareness and increase knowledge about obesity and the many other diseases on which it impacts.

Employers have a very important role to play in all this, and are what makes one company a better one to work for versus another one. Today, there is more awareness about happiness at the workplace. Creating the right environment in the workplace is key to retaining good people. Their health is important too. An unhealthy employee implies more sick days besides the direct health implications on the individual.

Would you like to show your employees you care and support our call? Then we can offer you a health screening check-up which will consist of a blood glucose and blood pressure measurement, waistline, height and weight measurement. Every individual will be given his own record sheet. Participation is against a donation which varies from as little as 50 euros up to 500 euros depending on the number of employees. We come on site and there are no disruptions of the work day.

The proceeds are used to support the participating schools in running their health campaigns by providing educational resources/materials required, edutainment, water subsidy, and opportunistic screening/health check-ups for teachers, parental outreach programmes amongst others.
